Qualifications:
Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner or a similar field with significant experience treating Mental Health patients with evidence-based medicine.
Possess an active PMHNP license in at least one of the following states: Colorado, Florida, Maryland, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Virginia, and Washington.
Possess an active DEA registration (Schedule 2-5) with X-Waiver and any required Controlled Substance state registrations.
Full practice authority for the state you are applying (laws and regulations are specific to each state) or a collaborative physician agreement in place (if required by your state) or willingness to obtain a collaborative physician upon hiring.
Greater than one year of practice experience with mental health patients.
Clear and compassionate communication skills with patients and staff.
General Responsibilities:
Conduct initial and monthly follow-up online visits, Provide professional mental health evaluation, diagnosis, and medication management, if necessary.
Maintain accurate records of patient's contact details, medical history, prescribed medications, allergies, diagnoses, and progress.
Specific Duties:
Discuss and review patients' medical history, symptoms, allergies, and current medications.
Ask patients situation-specific questions to formulate accurate diagnoses.
Develop an individualized treatment plan to address the client's goals and objectives related to conditions such as ADD, Depression, Anxiety, Insomnia, and/or Addiction.
Prescribe medications and controlled substances at safe doses with proper instructions.
Order, review, and explain any diagnostic test results to patients.
Follow up with patients and pharmacies as necessary to oversee prescriptions.
Collaborate with MDs, DOs, NPs, PAs, and RDs involved in the management of your patients.
Complete required training, and adhere to company guidelines and policies located in the contract.
Commit to a minimum of 50 appointments per week on the EMR.
